When it comes to the actual cooling effect of the air cooler, it does not solely depend on the brushless DC motor itself. When we check the product parameters, the key focus should be on the combination of "air volume" (usually in cubic meters per hour) and "motor power". Some products will be marked with "maximum air volume" or "nominal air volume". Ideally, this data should be measured in a standard test environment in conjunction with a water curtain system. If only a large air volume value is seen but the corresponding "reduction in outlet air temperature" or "applicable area" description cannot be found, then in actual use, especially when the humidity is high, the expected coolness may not be achieved.

 

The noise performance of the motor of the cold air fan is also a key concern for everyone. The "noise value" commonly seen in the parameter table is usually expressed in decibels (dB), but there is a detail here: the test status. Ideally, the product should clearly indicate "measured at the highest/lowest gear at a distance of 1 meter". If only a relatively low value is written, such as "≤45dB", without specifying that the test was conducted at the lowest wind speed, then when the highest speed is actually used, the sound may increase significantly. High-quality brushless DC motors, in combination with well-designed air ducts, can usually remain relatively quiet at medium and low gears.

 

In actual purchasing, one may encounter situations where the parameter descriptions are not clear enough. For instance, the test conditions for "refrigeration efficiency" are not clear, or the "noise data" only shows the results under the optimal operating conditions. Some products emphasize the "high speed" of the brushless DC motor of the cold air blower, but in actual use, factors such as the continuous operation stability of the motor and temperature rise control will also indirectly affect the cooling performance and noise level during long-term use.

 

Overall, when understanding the motor parameters of a cold air fan, it is recommended to pay more attention to the data supported by specific test conditions. You can pay special attention to the "energy efficiency grade" of the product and whether it provides corresponding data on air volume and noise at different Settings.
